Quality control inspector
We are looking for a quality control inspector to join our team. Yamaska Structures has been working on the design of steel structures since 1983. We are designer, manufacturer and installer of a wide variety of steel structures and projects such as: CHUM, REM, SKY, Bromont ...
Main tasks :
- Read and understand the plans and specifications of the parts
- Use measuring instruments to measure manufactured equipment
- Perform dimensional measurements of products manufactured according to criteria established by drawings, standards or specifications
- Produce reports following an inspection
- Assign a product code for traceability purposes
- Take the product code from the cut parts and maintain product traceability in the inspection file
- Produce reports of non-compliance when the manufactured product deviates from the estimate or plan or standards and suggest methods of correction, if applicable
Qualifications required:
- Excellent knowledge of welding processes
- Good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
- Mastery of the Office Suite
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

- Sense of responsibility
Conditions of employment:
- Permanent position
- Full time (40h / Week)
- Schedule (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
